What gets checked

Six of the things that trip up masters.

Every readiness check runs on the automated mastering flow. You’ll see the full list of warnings before you pay — not after.

Start a free readiness check
  • Integrated LUFS

How loud your mix is overall. Too loud suggests heavy limiting already on the mixbus.

  • True peak

Inter-sample peaks. Anything above 0 dBTP means clipping that mastering can’t recover.

  • Loudness range

How dynamic your mix is. Too narrow and the record will feel flat on streaming.

  • Phase correlation

How mono-compatible your stereo field is. Negative correlation warns of cancellation.

  • Stereo width

Low-end too wide triggers mono-folding warnings. We’ll handle it either way.

  • Brightness & harshness

Spectral balance. Too bright or too dark gets called out, with a recommended preset.

What a good score looks like

  • Integrated LUFS between -16 and -10
  • True peak below -1.0 dBTP
  • Loudness range above 6 LU
  • Phase correlation above 0.5

What warnings to watch

  • True peaks at or above 0 dBTP = clipping in the source
  • Integrated LUFS above -9 = heavy limiting already applied
  • Phase correlation below 0.2 = stereo cancellation
  • Stereo width above 0.9 = low-end too wide
